Simply add water and a few drops of your favourite essential oil or wax melt to the dish and place a standard tealight underneath to release a calming fragrance throughout your home. The practical two-piece design also makes it easy to clean and refill.

This stoneware ceramic piece is handmade by a collective of artisans in Kathmandu, Nepal, certified by the World Fair Trade Organization. The brand AURA QUE began working with the group in 2019, supporting fair trade craftsmanship and ethical production. Artisans benefit from initiatives including family medical care allowances, children’s education support and a savings scheme. The organisation is also working to reduce its environmental impact, moving from kerosene-based firing to electric ceramic kilns.

Care instructions:
Dishwasher safe (top shelf). Use a regular tealight (not tall or votive). Burn for a maximum of 3 hours at a time.

Never leave candles unattended and keep wick trimmed to 1/4 inch to prevent smoking and soot build up. Only burn on a level, heat resistant surface and keep away from from children, pets or anything that could catch fire. On the first burn ensure the melt pool reaches the edges of the candle; this helps prevent tunnelling around the wick.
