rewarding to reduce plastic waste, one refill at a time.
We offer a carefully chosen range of refillable products and eco-friendly alternatives to
everyday essentials. From household cleaners to personal care items, each
product is selected to help you make simple swaps that genuinely make a
difference — without sacrificing quality, convenience, or peace of mind.
Meet The Founders
We’re Nick and
Maria, a husband-and-wife team who started Refill Your Boots
because we wanted to reduce our own plastic waste — and quickly realised it
wasn’t as easy as it should be. Finding refill options that worked for everyday
life felt frustratingly difficult, so we decided to create our own shop to make
it simpler for others too.
We’re far from perfect, and we don’t pretend to be.
We still take flights occasionally, we still enjoy the odd avocado, but we’ve
made conscious choices to reduce our
consumption where we can. For us, sustainability is about progress, not
perfection — doing better when possible and being realistic about modern life.
That’s the ethos behind Refill Your Boots. We’re
not here to judge or pressure anyone. We’re here to help make small, manageable
changes that add up over time — and to walk alongside you on your journey to
living a little more sustainably.
Our Story
Founded in 2020, Refill Your Boots began with a simple idea:
refilling should be easy. When we tried to reduce our own plastic waste, we
quickly realised how difficult it could be to find refill options that truly
fit into real, busy lives.
So we decided to create what we wished existed. We
opened our refill shop in Whitchurch,
Shropshire, with the aim of making sustainable shopping feel
welcoming, practical, and achievable for everyone.
Following the success of our shop, we wanted to
make plastic-free shopping accessible to even more people. In November 2024, we launched our online shop, allowing customers
further afield to refill, reuse, and make small sustainable swaps from wherever
they are.
What started as a personal frustration has grown
into a passion for helping others reduce waste and shop with confidence —
knowing that every small change really does make a difference.
